Have you ever wondered how jewellery is crafted from raw metal into a finished piece?

This hands-on course introduces learners to the essential tools and techniques used in basic metalsmithing. During this course, you will explore foundational jewellery making techniques such as sawing, filing, shaping, forming, soldering, Polishing, and working with a variety of metals (Brass or Silver). Through guided practice and step-by-step instructions, learners will be able to create their first ever jewellery pieces (Pendant, Ring, and Bracelet).

Our courses are structured to be a hands-on approach with learners practicing and applying the concepts covered in class through project-based assignments. Each course includes both theoretical and practical components, structured exercises, and final projects at the end.

Learning Outcomes:

Upon successful completion of this course, learners will have:

• Familiarized themselves with basic hand making tools and machineries.

This intermediate course explores more complex tools and techniques for creating high-end, modern jewellery designs. During the course, learners will transform their inspirations into hand-illustrated concepts and refine their rendering techniques using a variety of materials and approaches. As part of the course, learners will work on an assignment brief to design a cohesive jewellery collection, based on butterfly motifs given as design reference.

Our courses are structured to be a hands-on approach with learners practicing and applying the concepts covered in class through project-based assignments. Each course includes both theoretical and practical components, structured exercises, and final projects at the end.

Learning Outcomes:

Upon successful completion of this course, learners will have:

• Recognized key characteristics in modern classic jewellery.
