The 3D Jewellery Design – Intermediate 1 course is designed for learners who already understand the basics of 3D modelling and are eager to expand their capabilities. This course introduces more complex tools, techniques, and workflows that will help learners refine their skills and elevate their digital jewellery creations.
Our courses are structured to be a hands-on approach with learners practicing and applying the concepts covered in class through project-based assignments. Each course includes both theoretical and practical components, structured exercises, and a final project at the end.
Learning Outcomes:
Upon successful completion of this course, learners will have:
- Identified MatrixGold tools to create cathedral, bypass, and signet rings
- Understood basic linking techniques for necklaces, bracelets, and earrings
- Compared different stone setting styles (i.e., pave, surface prong / bead setting, channel setting)
- Experimented with decorative elements to enhance jewellery designs (i.e., milgrain and engraving)
- Calculated dimensions, metal, and gemstones weights of models
- Tested appropriate props for rendering
- Created 3D models for printing
In addition to the above, learners can expect a supportive learning environment that builds their CAD proficiency step by step. At every level, learners will develop their ability to create precise 3D jewellery models, understand digital workflows, and translate design concepts into production‑ready files through guided exercises and structured practice.
Requirements:
- Age: The minimum eligible age for admission is 15 years.
- Prerequisites: Introduction to 3D Jewellery Design.
- Language: Applicants must demonstrate English proficiency. All programs are delivered in English, with some exceptions for Arabic programs Upon Request.
Certification and Recognition:
Learners registered for our courses and workshops must complete all required coursework. Upon successful completion, they will be eligible for the following:
- Certificate of Completion: Awarded to learners who have successfully completed all required coursework.
- Digital Badge (Credly by Pearson): Learners will also receive a digital badge as a recognition of their achievement, which can be added to their professional platforms and portfolio.
